July has been a super colorful month for me and I couldn't be happier about it.

I seem to have started taking awkward outfit photos via this strange angle. I normally take them on my walk to work while balancing an iphone and a cappucino. I was so sad when the Missoni for Target line flew out the door within minutes but my patience was rewarded when I found the exact sweater I had been pining for at my favorite Crossroads Trading Company (which, by the way, is this one. But please don't go and buy things in my size k?). I was trading in a bunch of clothes. I like to think that was fashion karma at work. Also, I can't stop wearing the cardigan now.

I always try to have fresh flowers in the house because they just make me so happy and make the house feel like a home. I found these gorgeous hydrangea blooms for $2 at a local florist during a walk home.

On Sunday I decided to catch up on a a little overdue hemming, like this fun little 60s number. It makes me think of lemons. I was fresh out of lemonade so I drank wine instead.

I really need a better photo of this sweater. It's so amazing in person. This was taken in a dark tavern we like to frequent. My other hand was holding a gimlet so I hope you'll forgive the blurriness! I've really fallen in love with the color Orange lately. You might just see more and more of it popping up on the blog.

When I was packing up my bag to leave work I noticed that my dress matched the contents of my purse. This was totally a happy accident!

Oh look - it's the awkward angle again! Told you! Also, orange. see. By the way, I've decided, thanks to this awesome Kate Spade bag, that lime green is totally a neutral and goes with everything.
